What better way to celebrate St. Paddy's Day than with an Irish-inspired boozy chocolate cake and some whiskey? This delectable dessert is a Chocolate Guinness cake complete with Bailey's Irish Cream frosting and a dusting of chocolate powder. It was a sweet dream come true photographing this last fall!
Concept: Adult Dessert and Drinks, something wintery feeling but not stereotypically holiday-ish. Use ambient lighting only.

I've learned that planning a test shoot in the fall is probably not the best in terms of timing. Everyone, including myself, gets busy with work. That seems to be the one of the seasonal high tides for gigs in the image making industry. I almost thought this shoot wasn't going to happen. I had the studio booked and Alicia on board; confirming a prop stylist who was available on our scheduled day was challenging to say the least! In any case, it worked out last minute and I'm grateful to Alicia and Julie for collaborating and bringing their skills to the shoot.
